WATEREASE

OUR MISSION

Access to clean water is deeply linked to poverty. Water scarcity, poor water quality and inadequate sanitation negatively impact food security, livelihood choices and educational opportunities for poor families across the world, especially for women and girls who spend endless hours fetching water over long distances.

WaterEase is a civic organization working to ensure people especially women and children have ongoing access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene regardless of location and economic status using Advocacy, grassroots mobilization and technology.

Commitment to Sanitation Everywhere (CASE)

We use tailored community approaches to total sanitation including the Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) approach to trigger communities to end open defecation in rural, peri-urban and riverine settings.

Hygiene for Every child Campaign

We carry out extensive Health Education programs focusing on hygiene, sanitation and waste management practices in underserved communities and we do this using various innovative ways, including our e-HEAL talking books that help us break communication barriers we faced in rural communities during our outreach programs.
The e-HEAL engages a community in their indigenous language.

WATER FOR ALL (WALL)

WALL is our project to ensure everyone has access to clean water.

Learn and Earn

We teach women in rural communities how to make or produce some hygiene and personal care products like liquid soap, detergent, disinfectants and so on.

With this knowledge they can by themselves produce these products and sell them to make some money and support their families.

Sponsor an entire water project

Where a person or an organization absolves the full cost of a project, the project is named after them. For N500,000 or more you can fully fund a water project for a community or a school.

When your project is built and we receive completion data (about 6 months), we assemble and send you a report with the following information:

  • Photos of the actual project.
  • A virtual plaque plotted on Google Maps.
  • Type of water project technology used.
  • GPS coordinates.
  • Population served.
